Nagaland University attains 25 years and celebrates its Silver Jubilee at NU headquarter 

Dimapur, September 6, (NE): Nagaland University, the only Central University in Nagaland established by an Act of Parliament by the Government of India in 1989 is celebrating its Silver Jubilee today with the theme ‘For a Vibrant Future‘ at the Nagaland University Headquarters Lumami.

Hon’ble Minister of Tribal Affairs, Government of India, Shri Arjun Munda is the Chief Guest while Minister and Deputy Chief of Mission Royal Thai Embassy, New Delhi, Mr. Thirapath Mongkoinavin is the Guest of Honor for the programme and Minister Higher & Technical Education and Tribal Affairs, Government of Nagaland, Shri Temjen Imnalong is the Special Guest.

Meanwhile, welcome address is given by Registrar, Nagaland University, Dr. Abemo. Various speeches were also given including Nagaland University, Vice Chancellor and others.

A release of Jubilee Souvenir and presentation of Jubilee plaque by Jubilee Souvenir Committee; besides special song by SASRD, NU & others were highlights of the program for the day.
