Kohima, October 09 (NEx): Nagaland State Transport (NST) department is set to resume its weekly helicopter services starting from October 12, 2020. Initially, the chopper services will be operative between the district headquarters only.
The NST General Manager in a notification said that weekly services would be resumed with full seat occupancy and an increase of Rs 300 per seat for all the sectors to take care of additional costs such as masks, face cover, sanitizers etc.
It has been made compulsory for a COVID-19 negative report by True Nat/Rapid Antigen Test/RT-PCR duly countersigned by authorized Medical Officer to be produced by the passenger before boarding the flight, along with the SOPs to be followed.
The resumption of chopper services will be between the district headquarters only, and the department requested all operating units to strictly maintain the contents of the terms and conditions specified by the Government while operating the helicopter service for the safety of all concerned.
