Nagaland reports 62 COVID positive cases, 61 recoveries & 2 deaths on July 19th

Kohima, July 19 (NEx): Nagaland recorded 62 new COVID positive cases and 61 recoveries on Monday, July 19th, 2021. Active cases stands at 1147 and there were 2 deaths related to COVID-19 today, the health department updated.

62 new COVID-19 positive cases recorded on July 19th:

With 62 new positive cases on Monday, the total tally of positive cases stands at 26,744. Out of 62 new COVID-19 positive cases reported, 22 cases were detected in Kohima, 17 in Longleng, 9 in Dimapur, 6 in Mokokchung, 3 each in Mon & Tuensang and 2 in Wokha.

61 COVID recoveries recorded on July 19th:

The state also recorded 61 recoveries on Monday, taking the total recovery tally in the state to 24,322. Out of 61 recoveries, 21 recovered from Dimapur, 12 from Kohima, 7 from Wokha, 6 each from Tuensang & Mokokchung, 4 from
Longleng, 3 from Mon and 2 from Peren.

2 deaths reported on July 19th:

2 (two) deaths due to COVID-19 was also reported in the State today, taking the death toll to 516. Out of 2 deaths, 1 each is from Kohima & Dimapur, the health department updated.
