Kohima, May 19 (NEx): Nagaland reported 244 COVID positive cases, 07 deaths due to COVID-19 and 215 recoveries on Wednesday, May 19, 2021, the Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom updated.
With 244 new positive cases on Wednesday, the total tally of positive cases rose to 18,958 and active cases stands at 4425, the Health Minister updated.
Out of 244 new COVID-19 positive cases reported, 115 cases were detected in Dimapur, 88 in Kohima, 12 each in Mokokchung & Zunheboto, 05 each in Longleng & Wokha, 03 in Mon, 02 in Peren, 01 each in Kiphire & Phek, Pangnyu said.
Also, the state recorded 215 recoveries of COVID-19 patients, taking the total recovery tally in the state to 13,706.
Out of the 215 recoveries, 152 patients recovered from Dimapur, 47 from Kohima, 06 from Mokokchung, 04 from Phek, 03 from Zunheboto and 01 each from Kiphire, Peren & Tuensang, the Health Minister updated.
244 +ve cases of COVID-19 reported today.
Dimapur-115,Kohima-88, Mokokchung-Zunheboto- 12 each,Longleng-Wokha-5 each,Mon-3,Peren-2, Kiphire-Phek-1 each.
215 +ve patients have recovered.

The state also reported 07 deaths due to to COVID-19 on Wednesday, taking the death toll to 224, Pangnyu informed.
