Nagaland reports 100 COVID positive cases, 60 recoveries & 5 deaths on July 17th

Kohima, July 17 (NEx): Nagaland recorded 100 new COVID positive cases and 60 recoveries on Saturday, July 17th, 2021. Active cases stands at 1112 and there were 5 deaths related to COVID-19 today, the health department updated.

100 new COVID-19 positive cases recorded on July 17th:

With 100 new positive cases on Saturday, the total tally of positive cases stands at 26,576. Out of 100 new COVID-19 positive cases reported, 36 cases were detected in Dimapur, 25 in Kohima, 12 in Mokokchung, 8 in Wokha, 5 in Peren, 4 each in Phek & Tuensang, 3 in Longleng, 2 in Kiphire and 1 in Mon.

60 COVID recoveries recorded on July 17th:

The state also recorded 60 recoveries on Saturday, taking the total recovery tally in the state to 24,205. Out of 60 recoveries, 23 recovered from Mokokchung, 13 from Tuensang, 9 from Kohima, 6 from Dimapur, 5 from Peren, 2 from Phek and 1 each from Kiphire & Mon.

5 deaths reported on July 17th:

5 (five) deaths due to COVID-19 was also reported in the State today, taking the death toll to 510. Out of 5 deaths, 2 each are from Dimapur & Kohima and 1 from Mokokchung, the health department updated.
