Nagaland recovered tally crosses 10,000 mark with 188 new recoveries from COVID-19 today

Kohima, December 01 (NEx): Nagaland recorded 188 recoveries of COVID patients taking the total count to 10,086, updated Pangnyu Phom on November 30, 2020. Out of the total recoveries, 133 recovered from Peren, 28 from Dimapur and 27 from Kohima.

The state also recorded 27 new COVID positive cases, taking the total tally to 11,186, updated the Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom.

Out of the total new cases reported today, 14 cases were detected in Kohima, 11 in Dimapur and 01 each in Mokokchung & Mon. Active cases stands at 925.

Among the new cases detected, 22 cases are from among the traced contacts, 03 among armed forces/ security personnel, 01 returnee/traveller and 01 front line workers, updated the Health Department in its daily bulletin.

Out of the total positive cases in the state, 4551 positive cases are among the Armed Force personnel, which is 41% of the total tally, 1,774 cases are returnees/travellers accounting to 16%, 4336 are traced contacts which is 39% of total cases and 525 front line workers at 05%.

As per the severity of symptoms, 846 active cases are asymptomatic, and among the symptomatic, 53 active cases are mild, 16 active cases are moderate on oxygen, 07 active cases are critical in ICU with oxygen and 03 are on ventilator. Also, 501 positive cases are under Home isolation in the state, the health department said.

So far, the State has reported fifty seven (57) deaths of COVID-19 patients, Seven (7) deaths of COVID-19 are not related to COVID and three (3) death cases are under investigation and 108 cases of COVID-19 are migrated, informed Nagaland Health and Family Welfare Department.
