Kohima, November 15 (NEx): Nagaland reported 135 new COVID-19 positive cases today, November 15, taking the total count in the state to 9,885, updated Nagaland Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom today.
Among the new cases detected, 71 cases were detected in Kohima, 53 in Dimapur, 09 in Tuensang and 01 each in Mon & Kiphire, updated Pangnyu. Active cases stands at 916. The Health Minister also cautioned to follow the 3 W’s: Wear Mask, Wash Hands, Watch Distance.
The state also reported 20 recoveries of COVID-19 patients today, out of which 18 patients recovered from Kohima, and 01 each from Dimapur & Tuensang, updated the Health Minister. Total recovery tally stands at 8,814.

Among the new cases detected today, 29 cases are from among the armed forces/ security personnel, 01 among returnees/ travellers and 105 are among traced contacts.
Out of the total positive cases in the state, 4,128 positive cases are among the Armed Force personnel, which is 45% of the total tally, 1,731 cases are returnees/travellers accounting to 21%, 3,554 are traced contacts which is 29% of total cases and 472 front line workers at 05%.
As per the severity of symptoms, 862 active cases are asymptomatic, and among the symptomatic, 22 active cases are mild, 14 active cases are moderate on oxygen, 13 active cases are severe on oxygen, 03 active cases are critical in ICU without oxygen and 02 active cases are on ventilator.
So far, the State has reported forty six (46) deaths of COVID-19 patients, Six (6) deaths of COVID-19 are not related to COVID and four (4) death cases are under investigation and 99 cases of COVID-19 are migrated, informed Nagaland Health and Family Welfare Department.
