Kohima, November 19 (NEx): Nagaland recorded 94 new COVID-19 positive cases today, November 19, taking the total count in the state to 10,460, updated Nagaland Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom today.
Among the new cases detected, 71 cases were detected in Dimapur, 12 in Peren, 07 in Kohima and 02 in Mon and 01 each in Phek & Kiphire, updated Pangnyu. Active cases stands at 1292. The Health Minister also cautioned to follow the 3 Ws: Wear Mask, Wash Hands & Watch Distance.
The state also reported 52 recoveries of COVID-19 patients today, out of which 32 patients recovered from Dimapur, 18 from Kohima and 02 from Mon, updated the Health Minister. Total recovery tally stands at 9007.

Also, 52 +ve patients have recovered.

Among the new cases detected today, 58 cases are from among the traced contacts, 22 are among front line workers, 10 are armed forces/ security personnel and 04 among returnees/ travellers.
Out of the total positive cases in the state, 4,293 positive cases are among the Armed Force personnel, which is 45% of the total tally, 1,751 cases are returnees/travellers accounting to 21%, 3,917 are traced contacts which is 29% of total cases and 499 front line workers at 05%.
As per the severity of symptoms, 1250 active cases are asymptomatic, and among the symptomatic, 19 active cases are mild, 14 active cases are moderate on oxygen, 03 active cases are severe on oxygen, 04 active cases are critical in ICU without oxygen and 02 active cases are on ventilator.
So far, the State has reported forty eight (48) deaths of COVID-19 patients, Six (6) deaths of COVID-19 are not related to COVID and four (4) death cases are under investigation and 103 cases of COVID-19 are migrated, informed Nagaland Health and Family Welfare Department.
