Kohima, December 10 (NEx): Nagaland reported 94 new COVID-19 positive cases today, December 10, taking the total count in the state to 11,602, updated Nagaland Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom today. Among the new cases detected, 67 cases were detected in Kohima, 22 in Dimapur, 03 in Kiphire, and 01 each in Peren & Wokha, updated Pangnyu. Active cases stands at 663.
The state also reported 18 recoveries from COVID-19 today where 11 patients recovered from Kohima and 07 from Dimapur, updated the Health Minister. Total recovery tally stands at 10,746. Pangnyu also cautioned all to Wear Mask, Keep Distance and Stay Safe.

Among the new cases detected today, 68 cases are from among the traced contacts, 15 returnees/travellers, 08 among armed forces/ security personnel and 03 are frontline workers, updated the Health Department in its daily bulletin.
Out of the total positive cases in the state, 4618 positive cases are among the Armed Force personnel, which is 40% of the total tally, 1,812 cases are returnees/travellers accounting to 16%, 4616 are traced contacts which is 39% of total cases and 556 front line workers at 05%.
As per the severity of symptoms, 621 active cases are asymptomatic, and among the symptomatic, 28 active cases are mild, 07 active cases are moderate on oxygen, 01 active cases is severe on oxygen, 03 active cases are critical in ICU without oxygen and 03 are on ventilator. Also, 331 positive cases are under Home isolation in the state, the health department said.
So far, the State has reported sixty one (61) deaths of COVID-19 patients, Seven (7) deaths of COVID-19 are not related to COVID and three (3) death cases are under investigation and 122 cases of COVID-19 are migrated, informed Nagaland Health and Family Welfare Department.
