Kohima, September 26 (NEx): Nagaland reported 94 new COVID-19 positive cases today, September 26, 2020, taking the total count in the state to 5862, updated Nagaland Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom today. Active cases stands at 1088.
Taking to Twitter, Pangnyu updated that 94 new COVID-19 positive cases has been confirmed in the State out of 574 sample results received today. Among the new cases detected, 51 cases are detected in Kohima, 39 in Dimapur, 2 in Mokokchung & 1 each in Mon and Phek, informed Pangnyu.
Out of 574 results received 94 +ve cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed.

Also, State reports 89 recoveries of COVID-19 patients.

Also, the state reported 89 recoveries of COVID-19 patients, out of which, 65 patients recovered from Dimapur & 24 from Kohima, updated Pangnyu. Total recovery tally stands at 4782.
The Principal Secretary, Home, GoN, issued COVID-19 bulletin and updated segregated data of COVID-19 positive cases reported in Nagaland for today. Out of the new postive cases reported in the State, 21 positive cases are among Armed Force personnel, 07 returnees and 66 traced contacts were tested positive for COVID-19, it said.
Out of the total positive cases in the state, 2750 positive cases are among the Armed Force personnel, which is around 47% of the total tally, 1471 cases are returnees/travellers accounting to 25%, 1305 are traced contacts which is 22% of total cases and 336 front line workers which sums at 06%. As per the severity of symptoms, 1001 active cases are asymptomatic, 21 active cases mild, 03 cases moderate and two (2) cases are on ventilator.
So far, the State has reported eleven (11) deaths of COVID-19 patients. Five (5) deaths of COVID-19 patients are not due to COVID-19 and two (2) death cases are under investigation while 37 cases of COVID-19 are migrated, informed Nagaland Health and Family Welfare Department.
