Kohima, September 29 (NEx): Nagaland reported 83 new COVID-19 positive cases today, September 29, 2020, taking the total count in the state to 6040, updated Nagaland Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom today. Among the new cases detected, 77 cases are detected in Dimapur & 6 in Kohima, informed Pangnyu.
Also, the state reported 45 recoveries of COVID-19 patients, out of which, 35 patients recovered from Dimapur, 6 from Kohima, 3 from Mokokchung & 1 from Mon, updated Pangnyu. Total recovery tally stands at 4942.
83 +ve cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed.
77 in Dimapur & 6 in Kohima.
Also, State reports 45 recoveries of COVID-19 patients.

The COVID-19 daily bulletin issued by the H&FW, GoN updates on the segregated data of 83 new COVID-19 positive cases reported in the State today. Out of the total cases, 62 positive cases are among Armed Force personnel, 06 returnees, 13 traced contacts and 02 frontline workers were tested positive for COVID-19, it said.
Out of the total positive cases in the state, 2863 positive cases are among the Armed Force personnel, which is around 47% of the total tally, 1488 cases are returnees/travellers accounting to 25%, 1347 are traced contacts which is 22% of total cases and 342 front line workers which sums at 06%. As per the severity of symptoms, 1002 active cases are asymptomatic, 28 active cases are mild, 05 cases moderate and one (1) active case is severe and one (1) is on ventilator.
So far, the State has reported twelve (12) deaths of COVID-19 patients. Five (5) deaths of COVID-19 patients are not due to COVID-19 and two (2) death cases are under investigation while 44 COVID positive patients are migrated from the State, informed Nagaland Health and Family Welfare Department.
