Kohima, November 01 (NEx): Nagaland reported 79 recoveries from COVID-19 today, November 01, out of which, 71 patients recovered from Dimapur, 05 from Mon, and 03 from Peren, updated the Health Minister. Total recovery tally stands at 7454.
The state also reported 28 new COVID-19 positive cases today, taking the total count in the state to 9,075, updated Nagaland Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom today. Among the new cases detected, 22 cases were detected in Dimapur, 04 in Kohima and 01 each in Mon & Longleng, updated Pangnyu. Active cases stands at 1499.
28 +ve cases of # COVID-19 detected today.
Dimapur- 22, Kohima- 4, Mon- Longleng- 1 each.
Also, 79 +ve patients have recovered.

Out of the 28 new positive cases reported in the State today, 16 positive cases are among Armed Force personnel/security personnel, 02 returnee/traveller, 06 traced contacts and 04 front line workers, updated the daily COVID bulletin.
Out of the total positive cases in the state, 3,950 positive cases are among the Armed Force personnel, which is around 45% of the total tally, 1658 cases are returnees/travellers accounting to 21%, 3025 are traced contacts which is 29% of total cases and 442 front line workers at 05%.
As per the severity of symptoms, 1,425 active cases are asymptomatic, and among the symptomatic, 43 active cases are mild, 15 active cases are moderate on oxygen, 8 active cases are severe on oxygen, 5 active cases are critical with oxygen and 3 active cases are on ventilator.
So far, the State has reported thirty three (33) deaths of COVID-19 patients. Six (6) deaths of COVID-19 patients are not related to COVID and two (2) death cases are under investigation while 81 cases of COVID-19 are migrated, informed Nagaland Health and Family Welfare Department.
