Kohima, November 23 (NEx): Nagaland recorded 75 new COVID-19 positive cases today, November 23, taking the total count in the state to 10,852, updated Nagaland Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom.
Among the new cases detected, 51 cases were detected in Dimapur, 18 in Kohima 05 in Tuensang and 01 in Mon, updated Pangnyu. Active cases stands at 1442. The Health Minister also cautioned to follow the 3 W’s: Wear Mask, Wash Hands & Watch Distance.
The state also reported 38 recoveries of COVID-19 patients today, out of which 23 patients recovered from Kohima, 14 from Dimapur and 01 from Peren, updated the Health Minister. Total recovery tally stands at 9242.

Also, 38 +ve patients have recovered.

Among the new cases detected today, 26 cases are from among the armed forces/ security personnel, 47 traced contacts and 01 each among the returnees/travellers & front line workers.
Out of the total positive cases in the state, 4499 positive cases are among the Armed Force personnel, which is 45% of the total tally, 1,754 cases are returnees/travellers accounting to 21%, 4091 are traced contacts which is 29% of total cases and 508 front line workers at 05%.
As per the severity of symptoms, 1407 active cases are asymptomatic, and among the symptomatic, 19 active cases are mild, 11 active cases are moderate on oxygen, 03 active cases are severe on oxygen and 02 active cases are critical in ICU, on ventilator.
So far, the State has reported fifty five (55) deaths of COVID-19 patients, Six (6) deaths of COVID-19 are not related to COVID and two (2) death cases are under investigation and 106 cases of COVID-19 are migrated, informed Nagaland Health and Family Welfare Department.
