Kohima, November 25 (NEx): Nagaland recorded 60 new positive cases today, November 25, taking the total count in the state to 10,991, as per an update from Nagaland Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom.
Among the new cases detected, 35 cases were detected in Dimapur, 21 in Kohima and 02 each in Peren & Mon, updated Pangnyu. Active cases stands at 1465.
The state also reported 66 recoveries of COVID-19 patients today, out of which 46 patients recovered from Dimapur, 19 from Kohima and 01 from Zunheboto, updated the Health Minister. Total recovery tally stands at 9357.

Also, 66 +ve patients have recovered.

Among the new cases detected today, 38 cases are from among the traced contacts, 15 among armed forces/ security personnel, 05 are front line workers and 02 are returnees/travellers.
Out of the total positive cases in the state, 4519 positive cases are among the Armed Force personnel, which is 45% of the total tally, 1,760 cases are returnees/travellers accounting to 21%, 4194 are traced contacts which is 29% of total cases and 518 front line workers at 05%.
As per the severity of symptoms, 1389 active cases are asymptomatic, and among the symptomatic, 47 active cases are mild, 13 active cases are moderate on oxygen, 04 active cases are severe on oxygen and 06 active cases are critical in ICU, without oxygen, 04 with oxygen and 02 are on ventilator. Also, 698 positive cases are under Home isolation in the state, the health department said.
So far, the State has reported fifty five (55) deaths of COVID-19 patients, Six (6) deaths of COVID-19 are not related to COVID and two (2) death cases are under investigation and 106 cases of COVID-19 are migrated, informed Nagaland Health and Family Welfare Department.
