Kohima, December 03 (NEx): Nagaland recorded 52 recoveries of COVID patients taking the total count to 10,410, updated Pangnyu Phom today, December 03, 2020. Out of the total recoveries today, 33 recovered from Dimapur, 10 from Kohima, 04 each from Mon & Tuensang and 01 from Phek.
The state also recorded 29 new COVID positive cases today, taking the total tally to 11,283, updated the Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom. Out of the new cases detected today, 15 cases were detected in Kohima, 09 in Dimapur, 03 in Mon and 02 in Mokokchung. Active cases stands at 696.
29 +ve cases of # COVID-19 have detected today.
Kohima- 15, Dimapur- 9, Mon- 3, Mokokchung- 2.
Also, 52 +ve patients have recovered.
Dimapur- 33, Kohima- 10, Mon- Tuensang- 4 each, Phek- 1.
Total +ve cases- 11283

Among the new cases detected today, 21 cases are from among the traced contacts, 05 among armed forces/ security personnel and 03 returnees/travellers, updated the Health Department in its daily bulletin.
Out of the total positive cases in the state, 4570 positive cases are among the Armed Force personnel, which is 41% of the total tally, 1,779 cases are returnees/travellers accounting to 16%, 4399 are traced contacts which is 39% of total cases and 535 front line workers at 05%.
As per the severity of symptoms, 626 active cases are asymptomatic, and among the symptomatic, 44 active cases are mild, 16 active cases are moderate on oxygen, 01 active case severe on oxygen, 07 active cases are critical in ICU with oxygen and 03 are on ventilator. Also, 429 positive cases are under Home isolation in the state, the health department said.
So far, the State has reported fifty seven (57) deaths of COVID-19 patients, Seven (7) deaths of COVID-19 are not related to COVID and three (3) death cases are under investigation and 110 cases of COVID-19 are migrated, informed Nagaland Health and Family Welfare Department.
