Kohima, September 28 (NEx): Nagaland reported 84 new COVID-19 positive cases on Sunday, September 27, 2020, taking the total count in the state to 5946, updated Nagaland Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom today. Active cases stands at 1042.
Taking to Twitter, Pangnyu updated that 84 new COVID-19 positive cases has been confirmed in the State. Among the new cases detected, 71 cases are detected in Dimapur, 9 in Kohima, 3 in Longleng and 1 in Mon district, informed Pangnyu.
Also, State reports 66 recoveries of COVID-19 patients, out of which, 50 patients recovered from Dimapur, 7 each from Kohima & Mokokchung and 2 from Tuensang district updated Pangnyu. Total recovery tally stands at 4848.
84 +ve cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed today.

The COVID-19 bulletin updated segregated data of COVID-19 positive cases reported in Nagaland on Sunday. Out of the 84 new postive cases reported in the State, 48 positive cases are among Armed Force personnel, 08 returnees, 27 traced contacts and 1 frontline worker tested positive for COVID-19, it said.
Out of the 5946 total positive cases in the state, 2798 positive cases are among the Armed Force personnel, which is around 47% of the total tally, 1479 cases are returnees/travellers accounting to 25%, 1332 are traced contacts which is 22% of total cases and 337 front line workers which sums at 06%. As per the severity of symptoms, 1022 active cases are asymptomatic, 14 active cases mild, 04 cases moderate and two (2) patients are under ventilator support.
So far, the State has reported eleven (11) deaths of COVID-19 patients. Five (5) deaths of COVID-19 patients are not due to COVID-19 and two (2) death cases are under investigation while 40 COVID-19 patients are migrated from the State, informed Nagaland Health and Family Welfare Department.
