Kohima, November 11 (NEx): Nagaland reported 42 new COVID-19 positive cases today, November 11, taking the total count in the state to 9,578, updated Nagaland Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom today. Among the new cases detected, 26 cases were detected in Dimapur, 07 in Kohima, 04 in Mon, 02 in Tuensang and 01 each in Peren, Mokokchung & Zunheboto, updated Pangnyu. Active cases stands at 838.
The state also reported 90 recoveries from COVID-19 today, out of which, 64 patients recovered from Dimapur, 12 from Tuensang, 11 from Kohima, 02 from Zunheboto and 01 from Kiphire, updated the Health Minister. Total recovery tally stands at 8,595.

Dimapur- 26, Kohima- 7, Mon- 4, Tuensang- 2, Mokokchung- Peren- Zunheboto- 1 each.
Also, 90 +ve patients have recovered.

Among the new cases detected today, 06 cases are from among the armed forces/ security personnel, 05 returnees/ travellers, 30 are from traced contacts and 01 front line workers.
Out of the total positive cases in the state, 4,088 positive cases are among the Armed Force personnel, which is around 45% of the total tally, 1,686 cases are returnees/travellers accounting to 21%, 3,336 are traced contacts which is 29% of total cases and 468 front line workers at 05%.
As per the severity of symptoms, 781 active cases are asymptomatic, and among the symptomatic, 28 active cases are mild, 10 active cases are moderate on oxygen, 12 active cases are severe on oxygen, 03 active cases are critical in ICU without oxygen and 04 active cases are on ventilator.
So far, the State has reported forty four (44) deaths of COVID-19 patients. Six (6) deaths of COVID-19 but are not related to COVID and three (3) death cases are under investigation, informed Nagaland Health and Family Welfare Department.
