Kohima, October 26 (NEx): Nagaland reported 37 new COVID-19 positive cases today, October 26, 2020, taking the total count in the state to 8663, updated Nagaland Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom today. Among the new cases detected, 27 cases were detected in Kohima, 08 in Dimapur, 02 in Mon, updated Pangnyu. Active cases stands at 1833.
37 +ve cases of #COVID-19 detected today.
Kohima- 28, Dimapur- 8, Mon- 1.
Also, 67 +ve patients have recovered.
Dimapur- 31, Kohima- 20, Mokokchung- 13, Mon- 3.

Also, the state reported 67 recoveries from COVID-19 today, out of which, 31 patients recovered from Dimapur, 20 from Kohima, 13 from Mokokchung and 03 from Mon, updated the Health Minister. Total recovery tally stands at 6720.
Out of the new positive cases reported in the State today, 03 positive cases are among Armed Force personnel/security personnel, 21 traced contacts and 13 frontline workers were tested positive for COVID-19, updated the daily COVID bulletin.
Out of the total positive cases in the state, 3807 positive cases are among the Armed Force personnel, which is around 45% of the total tally, 1635 cases are returnees/travellers accounting to 21%, 2800 are traced contacts which is 29% of total cases and 421 front line workers at 05%. As per the severity of symptoms, 1742 active cases are asymptomatic and among the symptomatic, 69 active cases are mild, 12 cases are moderate on oxygen and 03 severe on oxygen, while, 08 patients are in critical condition in ICU, out of which, 02 patients are without oxygen, 03 patients are with oxygen and 03 on ventilator.
So far, the State has reported twenty seven (27) deaths of COVID-19 patients. Six (6) deaths of COVID-19 patients are not COVID-19 related and five (5) death case is under investigation while 72 cases of COVID-19 are migrated, informed Nagaland Health and Family Welfare Department.
