Kohima, November 10 (NEx): Nagaland reported 33 new COVID-19 positive cases today, November 10, taking the total count in the state to 9,536, updated Nagaland Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom today. Among the new cases detected, 18 cases were detected in Dimapur, 09 in Kohima, 04 in Mon and 01 each in Peren & Mokokchung, updated A qa. Active cases stands at 886.
The state also reported 82 recoveries from COVID-19 today, out of which, 52 patients recovered from Dimapur, 11 from Mokokchung, 09 each from Kohima & Mon and 01 from Wokha, updated the Health Minister. Total recovery tally stands at 8,505.
33 +ve cases of # COVID-19 detected today.
Dimapur- 18, Kohima- 9, Mon- 4, Peren- Mokokchung- 1 each.
Also, 82 +ve patients have recovered.

Among the new cases detected today, 05 cases are from among the returnees/ travellers, 25 are from traced contacts and 03 are among the front line workers.
Out of the total positive cases in the state, 4,082 positive cases are among the Armed Force personnel, which is around 45% of the total tally, 1,681 cases are returnees/travellers accounting to 21%, 3,306 are traced contacts which is 29% of total cases and 467 front line workers at 05%.
As per the severity of symptoms, 828 active cases are asymptomatic, and among the symptomatic, 33 active cases are mild, 10 active cases are moderate on oxygen, 10 active cases are severe on oxygen, 02 active cases are critical in ICU without oxygen and 03 active cases are on ventilator.
So far, the State has reported forty four (44) deaths of COVID-19 patients. Six (6) deaths of COVID-19 but are not related to COVID and three (3) death cases are under investigation while 92 cases of COVID-19 are migrated, informed Nagaland Health and Family Welfare Department.
