Kohima, May 26 (NEx): Nagaland reported 260 COVID positive cases, 12 deaths due to COVID-19 and 131 recoveries on Wednesday, May 26th, 2021, updated the Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom.
With 260 new positive cases on Wednesday, the total tally of positive cases rose to 20,795 and active cases stands at 4923, the Health Minister updated.
Out of 260 new COVID-19 positive cases reported, 117 cases were detected in Dimapur, 98 in Kohima, 15 in Mokokchung, 12 in Phek, 08 in Zunheboto, 05 in Wokha, 04 in Kiphire and 01 in Peren, Pangnyu said.
Also, the state recorded 131 recoveries of COVID-19 patients, taking the total recovery tally in the state to 14,929.
Out of the 131 recoveries, 46 patients recovered from Dimapur, 29 from Kohima, 14 each from Zunheboto & Kiphire, 11 from Mokokchung, 07 from Phek, 05 from Wokha, 02 each from Mon & Peren and 01 from Longleng, the Health Minister updated.
260 +ve cases of COVID-19 reported today.
Dimapur-117,Kohima-98, Mokokchung-15,Phek-12, Zunheboto-8,Wokha-5, Kiphire-4,Peren-1.
131 +ve patients have recovered.

The state also reported 12 deaths due to COVID-19 on Wednesday, taking the death toll to 315. Out of 12 deaths, 08 are from Dimapur and 02 each from Kohima & Phek, as per the daily bulletin from health department.
