Kohima, November 28 (NEx): Nagaland recorded 24 new COVID positive cases today, November 28, 2020, taking the total tally to 11,115, updated the Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom.
Out of the total new cases reported today, 19 cases were detected in Dimapur, 03 in Kohima and 01 each in Peren & Tuensang. Active cases stands at 1218.
The state also recorded 25 recoveries of COVID patients taking the total count to 9724, updated Pangnyu Phom. Out of the total recoveries, 19 recovered from Tuensang, 04 from Mon and 01 each from Mokokchung & Phek.
24 +ve cases of # COVID-19 detected
Dimapur- 19, Kohima- 3, Peren- Tuensang- 1 each.
Also, 25 +ve patients have recovered.
Tuensang- 19, Mon- 4, Mokokchung- Phek- 1 each.
Total +ve cases- 11115
Active Cases- 1218.

Among the new cases detected today, 19 cases are from among the traced contacts, 03 among armed forces/ security personnel, 01 returnee/traveller and 01 front line worker.
Out of the total positive cases in the state, 4538 positive cases are among the Armed Force personnel, which is 41% of the total tally, 1,770 cases are returnees/travellers accounting to 16%, 4285 are traced contacts which is 39% of total cases and 522 front line workers at 05%.
As per the severity of symptoms, 1144 active cases are asymptomatic, and among the symptomatic, 57 active cases are mild, 12 active cases are moderate on oxygen, 03 active cases are critical in ICU with oxygen and 02 are on ventilator. Also, 584 positive cases are under Home isolation in the state, the health department said.
So far, the State has reported fifty seven (57) deaths of COVID-19 patients, Seven (7) deaths of COVID-19 are not related to COVID and three (3) death cases are under investigation and 106 cases of COVID-19 are migrated, informed Nagaland Health and Family Welfare Department.
