Kohima, November 13 (NEx): Nagaland reported 23 new COVID-19 positive cases today, November 13, taking the total count in the state to 9,638, updated Nagaland Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom today.
Among the new cases detected, 13 cases were detected in Dimapur, 05 in Kohima, 03 in Phek and 02 in Mon, updated Pangnyu. Active cases stands at 725. The Health Minister also cautioned to follow the 3 W’s: Wear Mask, Wash Hands, Watch Distance.
The state also reported 81 recoveries from COVID-19 today, out of which, 78 patients recovered from Dimapur, 02 from Mon and 01 from Kohima, updated the Health Minister. Total recovery tally stands at 8,764.

Also, 81 +ve patients have recovered.

Among the new cases detected today, 03 cases are from among the armed forces/ security personnel, 03 returnees/ travellers, 16 are from traced contacts and 01 front line workers.
Out of the total positive cases in the state, 4,094 positive cases are among the Armed Force personnel, which is around 45% of the total tally, 1,694 cases are returnees/travellers accounting to 21%, 3,379 are traced contacts which is 29% of total cases and 471 front line workers at 05%.
As per the severity of symptoms, 681 active cases are asymptomatic, and among the symptomatic, 14 active cases are mild, 14 active cases are moderate on oxygen, 13 active cases are severe on oxygen, 02 active cases are critical in ICU without oxygen and 01 active cases are on ventilator.
So far, the State has reported forty six (46) deaths of COVID-19 patients. Six (6) deaths of COVID-19 but are not related to COVID and two (2) death cases are under investigation and 95 cases of COVID-19 are migrated, informed Nagaland Health and Family Welfare Department.
