Kohima, November 08 (NEx): Nagaland reported 19 new COVID-19 positive cases today, November 08, taking the total count in the state to 9474, updated Nagaland Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom today. Among the new cases detected, 12 cases were detected in Kohima, 03 in Mon, 02 in Dimapur and 01 each in Mokokchung & Tuensang, updated Pangnyu. Active cases stands at 985.
The state also reported 101 recoveries from COVID-19 today, out of which, 55 patients recovered from Dimapur, 25 from Kohima and 19 from Mon and 01 each from Peren & Mokokchung, updated the Health Minister. Total recovery tally stands at 8350.

Kohima- 12, Mon- 3, Dimapur- 2, Mokokchung- Tuensang- 1 each.
Also, 101 +ve patients have recovered.

Out of the 19 new positive cases reported in the State today, 01 positive cases are among returnees, 17 contacts and 01 front line workers, updated the daily COVID bulletin.
Out of the total positive cases in the state, 4074 positive cases are among the Armed Force personnel, which is around 45% of the total tally, 1676 cases are returnees/travellers accounting to 21%, 3263 are traced contacts which is 29% of total cases and 462 front line workers at 05%.
As per the severity of symptoms, 925 active cases are asymptomatic, and among the symptomatic, 32 active cases are mild, 12 active cases are moderate on oxygen, 10 active cases are severe on oxygen, 02 active cases are critical in ICU without oxygen and 04 are on ventilator.
So far, the State has reported forty (40) deaths of COVID-19 patients. Six (6) deaths of COVID-19 but are not related to COVID and three (3) death cases are under investigation while 90 cases of COVID-19 are migrated, informed Nagaland Health and Family Welfare Department.
