Kohima, November 03 (NEx): Nagaland reported 180 recoveries from COVID-19 today, November 03, out of which, 162 patients recovered from Dimapur, 06 each from Kohima & Mon and 03 each from Peren & Kiphire, updated the Health Minister. Total recovery tally stands at 7786.
The state also reported 55 new COVID-19 positive cases today, taking the total count in the state to 9151, updated Nagaland Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom today. Among the new cases detected, 39 cases were detected in Dimapur, 13 in Kohima and 02 in Mon and 01 in Peren, updated Pangnyu. Active cases stands at 1238.
55 +ve cases of # COVID-19 detected today.
Dimapur- 39, Kohima- 13, Mon- 2, Peren- 1.
Also, 180 +ve patients have recovered.
Dimapur- 162, Kohima- Mon- 6 each, Kiphire- Peren- 3 each.

Out of the 55 new positive cases reported in the State today, 25 positive cases are among armed forces/security personnel, 29 traced contacts and 01 front line worker, updated the daily COVID bulletin.
Out of the total positive cases in the state, 3,975 positive cases are among the Armed Force personnel, which is around 45% of the total tally, 1658 cases are returnees/travellers accounting to 21%, 3072 are traced contacts which is 29% of total cases and 446 front line workers at 05%.
As per the severity of symptoms, 1,171 active cases are asymptomatic, and among the symptomatic, 41 active cases are mild, 13 active cases are moderate on oxygen, 06 active cases are severe on oxygen, 05 active cases are critical with oxygen and 02 active cases on ventilator.
So far, the State has reported thirty six (36) deaths of COVID-19 patients. Six (6) deaths of COVID-19 patients are not related to COVID and two (2) death cases are under investigation while 83 cases of COVID-19 are migrated, informed Nagaland Health and Family Welfare Department.
