Kohima, September 15 (NEx): Nagaland reported 15 new COVID-19 positive cases today, September 15, 2020, taking the total count in the state to 5229, updated Nagaland Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom today. Active cases stands at 1269.
Taking to Twitter, Pangnyu updated that 15 new COVID-19 positive cases has been confirmed in the State out of 304 sample results received today. Among the new cases detected, 8 cases are in Dimapur, 4 in Kohima & 1 each in Mokokchung, Tuensang and Mon district, informed Pangnyu.
Health minister also informed of 27 recoveries among the COVID- positive patients. All th recovered 27 patients are from Kohima district. Total recovery tally stands at 3927.
Out of 304 results received 15 +ve cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed.
8 in Dimapur, 4 in Kohima & 1 each in Mokokchung, Tuensang and Mon.
Also, State reports 27 recoveries of COVID-19 patients from Kohima.

The COVID-19 daily bulletin issued by H&FW department, Government of Nagaland updates segregated data of COVID-19 positive cases reported in Nagaland till date. Out of the total 5229 postive cases reported in the State, 2464 positive cases are among Armed Force personnel, 1415 returnees, 1030 traced contacts and 320 front line workers were tested positive for COVID-19, it said.
With 15 new cases, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 positive cases in Nagaland rises to 5229 today. Out of this, 2464 postive cases are among the Armed Force personnel, which is around 47% of the total tally. As per the severity of symptoms, 1259 active cases are asymptomatic, 08 active cases are mild and 02 are moderate.
So far, the State has reported ten (10) deaths of COVID-19 patients. Out of this, Five (5) deaths of COVID-19 patients are not due to COVID-19 and one (1) death case is under investigation, informed Nagaland Health and Family Welfare Department.
