Kohima, November 20 (NEx): Nagaland recorded 148 new COVID-19 positive cases today, November 20, taking the total count in the state to 10,608, updated Nagaland Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom today.
Among the new cases detected, 138 cases were detected in Dimapur, 08 in Kohima and 01 each in Tuensang & Mon, updated Pangnyu. Active cases stands at 1340. The Health Minister also cautioned to follow the 3 W’s: Wear Mask, Wash Hands & Watch Distance.
The state also reported 97 recoveries of COVID-19 patients today, out of which 79 patients recovered from Dimapur, 08 from Kohima, 06 from Mon and 04 from Mokokchung, updated the Health Minister. Total recovery tally stands at 9104.

Also, 97 +ve patients have recovered.

Among the new cases detected today, 118 cases are from among the armed forces/ security personnel, 27 are among traced contacts and 03 are front line workers.
Out of the total positive cases in the state, 4411 positive cases are among the Armed Force personnel, which is 45% of the total tally, 1,751 cases are returnees/travellers accounting to 21%, 3,944 are traced contacts which is 29% of total cases and 502 front line workers at 05%.
As per the severity of symptoms, 1297 active cases are asymptomatic, and among the symptomatic, 23 active cases are mild, 11 active cases are moderate on oxygen, 03 active cases are severe on oxygen, 04 active cases are critical in ICU without oxygen and 02 active cases are on ventilator.
So far, the State has reported fifty (50) deaths of COVID-19 patients, Six (6) deaths of COVID-19 are not related to COVID and four (4) death cases are under investigation and 104 cases of COVID-19 are migrated, informed Nagaland Health and Family Welfare Department.
