Kohima, November 08 (NEx): Nagaland reported 128 new COVID-19 positive cases on November 07, taking the total count in the state to 9455, updated Nagaland Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom today. Among the new cases detected, 61 cases were detected in Dimapur, 54 in Mon, 11 in Kohima, and 02 in Peren, updated Pangnyu. Active cases stands at 1071.
The state also reported 54 recoveries from COVID-19, out of which, 40 patients recovered from Dimapur, 13 from Kohima and 01 from Zunheboto, updated the Health Minister. Total recovery tally stands at 8249.

Out of the 128 new positive cases reported in the State, 55 positive cases are among armed forces/security personnel, 06 returnees, 64 traced contacts and 03 front line workers, updated the daily COVID bulletin.
Out of the total positive cases in the state, 4074 positive cases are among the Armed Force personnel, which is around 45% of the total tally, 1675 cases are returnees/travellers accounting to 21%, 3245 are traced contacts which is 29% of total cases and 461 front line workers at 05%.
As per the severity of symptoms, 1012 active cases are asymptomatic, and among the symptomatic, 34 active cases are mild, 11 active cases are moderate on oxygen, 08 active cases are severe on oxygen, 02 active cases are critical in ICU without oxygen and 04 are on ventilator.
So far, the State has reported thirty nine (39) deaths of COVID-19 patients. Six (6) deaths of COVID-19 ;but &- are not related to COVID and three (3) death cases are under investigation while 87 cases of COVID-19 are migrated, informed Nagaland Health and Family Welfare Department.
