Kohima, October 13 (NEx): Nagaland reported 123 new COVID-19 positive cases today, October 13, 2020, taking the total count in the state to 7363, updated Health Minister Pangnyu Phom. Among the new cases detected, 66 cases were detected in Dimapur, 37 in Kohima, 19 in Mokokchung and 01 in Mon, updated Pangnyu. Active cases stands at 1505.

Also, 16 patients have been recovered.

Also, the state reported 16 recoveries from COVID-19 today, out of which, 14 patients recovered from Dimapur and 02 in Mon, updated the daily COVID bulletin by the department of Health and Family Welfare. Total recovery tally stands at 5770.
Out of the new positive cases reported in the State today, 26 positive cases are among Armed Force personnel, 09 returnees and 85 traced contacts and 03 frontline workers were tested positive for COVID-19, updated the daily COVID bulletin.
Out of the total positive cases in the state, 3364 positive cases are among the Armed Force personnel, which is around 46% of the total tally, 1564 cases are returnees/travellers accounting to 21%, 2063 are traced contacts which is 28% of total cases and 372 front line workers which sums at 05%. As per the severity of symptoms, 1350 active cases are asymptomatic and among the symptomatic, 46 active cases are mild, 10 cases moderate, 01 patient is severe, 03 is in critical condition in ICU, 01 with oxygen and 02 on ventilator.
So far, the State has reported fourteen (14) deaths of COVID-19 patients. Five (5) deaths of COVID-19 patients are not COVID-19 related and eight (8) death cases are under investigation while 61 cases of COVID-19 are migrated, informed Nagaland Health and Family Welfare Department.
