Kohima, November 06 (NEx): Nagaland reported 117 recoveries from COVID-19 today, November 06, out of which, 76 patients recovered from Dimapur, 37 from Kohima, 02 from Zunheboto and 01 each from Wokha & Kiphire, updated the Health Minister. Total recovery tally stands at 8195.
The state also reported 63 new COVID-19 positive cases today, taking the total count in the state to 9327, updated Nagaland Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom today. Among the new cases detected, 41 cases were detected in Dimapur, 16 in Kohima, 03 in Mon, 02 in Mokokchung and 01 in Peren, updated Pangnyu. Active cases stands at 997.

Also, 117 +ve patients have recovered.

Out of the 63 new positive cases reported in the State today, 24 positive cases are among armed forces/security personnel, 03 returnees, 30 traced contacts and 6 front line workers, updated the daily COVID bulletin.
Out of the total positive cases in the state, 4019 positive cases are among the Armed Force personnel, which is around 45% of the total tally, 1669 cases are returnees/travellers accounting to 21%, 3181 are traced contacts which is 29% of total cases and 458 front line workers at 05%.
As per the severity of symptoms, 932 active cases are asymptomatic, and among the symptomatic, 39 active cases are mild, 10 active cases are moderate on oxygen, 09 active cases are severe on oxygen, 03 active cases are critical in ICU without oxygen and 04 are on ventilator.
So far, the State has reported thirty nine (39) deaths of COVID-19 patients. Six (6) deaths of COVID-19 patients are not related to COVID and three (3) death cases are under investigation while 87 cases of COVID-19 are migrated, informed Nagaland Health and Family Welfare Department.
