Kohima, October 28 (NEx): Nagaland reported 114 recoveries from COVID-19 today, October 28, 2020, out of which, 53 patients recovered from Dimapur, 46 from Kohima, 13 from Tuensang and 02 from Mon, updated the Health Minister. Total recovery tally stands at 6869.
The state also reported 63 new COVID-19 positive cases today, taking the total count in the state to 8824, updated Nagaland Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom today. Among the new cases detected, 71 cases were detected in Dimapur, 13 in Kohima, 05 in Mon, 03 each in Tuensang & Mokokchung and 01 each in Kiphire, Wokha & Zunheboto, updated Pangnyu. Active cases stands at 1840.
98 +ve cases of # COVID-19 detected today.
Dimapur- 71, Kohima- 13, Mon- 5, Tuensang- 3, Mokokchung- 3, Kiphire-Wokha-Zunheboto- 1 each.
Also, 114 +ve patients have recovered.

Out of the new positive cases reported in the State today, 28 positive cases are among Armed Force personnel/security personnel, 06 returnee/traveller, 59 traced contacts and 05 frontline workers were tested positive for COVID-19, updated the daily COVID bulletin.
Out of the total positive cases in the state, 3843 positive cases are among the Armed Force personnel, which is around 45% of the total tally, 1642 cases are returnees/travellers accounting to 21%, 2906 are traced contacts which is 29% of total cases and 433 front line workers at 05%.
As per the severity of symptoms, 1747 active cases are asymptomatic and among the symptomatic, 73 active cases are mild, 12 cases are moderate on oxygen and 01 severe on oxygen, while, 07 patients are in critical condition in ICU, out of which, 03 patients are with oxygen and 04 on ventilator.
So far, the State has reported twenty eight (28) deaths of COVID-19 patients. Six (6) deaths of COVID-19 patients are not COVID-19 related and five (5) death cases are under investigation while 76 cases of COVID-19 are migrated, informed Nagaland Health and Family Welfare Department.
