Kohima, October 25 (NEx): Nagaland reported 111 new COVID-19 positive cases today, October 25, 2020, taking the total count in the state to 8626, updated Nagaland Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom today. Among the new cases detected, 50 cases were detected in Dimapur, 29 in Kohima, 23 in Mon, 06 in Kiphire and 01 each in Peren, Mokokchung & Wokha, updated Pangnyu. Active cases stands at 1865.
111 +ve cases of #COVID-19 detected today.
Dimapur- 50, Kohima- 29, Mon- 23, Kiphire- 6, Mokokchung- Peren- Wokha- 1 each.
Also, 55 +ve patients have recovered.
Kohima- 27, Dimapur – 15, Mon- Tuensang- 5 each, Peren- 3.

Also, the state reported 55 recoveries from COVID-19 today, out of which, 27 patients recovered from Kohima, 15 from Dimapur, 05 each from Mon & Tuensang and 03 from Peren, updated the Health Minister. Total recovery tally stands at 6653.
Out of the new positive cases reported in the State today, 33 positive cases are among Armed Force personnel/security personnel, 04 returnees and 66 traced contacts and 08 frontline workers were tested positive for COVID-19, updated the daily COVID bulletin.
Out of the total positive cases in the state, 3804 positive cases are among the Armed Force personnel, which is around 45% of the total tally, 1635 cases are returnees/travellers accounting to 21%, 2779 are traced contacts which is 29% of total cases and 408 front line workers at 05%. As per the severity of symptoms, 1790 active cases are asymptomatic and among the symptomatic, 57 active cases are mild, 08 cases are moderate on oxygen and 02 severe on oxygen, while, 08 patients are in critical condition in ICU, out of which, 02 are without oxygen, 03 patients are with oxygen and 03 on ventilator.
So far, the State has reported twenty five (25) deaths of COVID-19 patients. Six (6) deaths of COVID-19 patients are not COVID-19 related and six (6) death case is under investigation while 71 cases of COVID-19 are migrated, informed Nagaland Health and Family Welfare Department.
