Kohima, December 01 (NEx): Nagaland recorded 108 recoveries of COVID patients taking the total count to 10,194 updated Pangnyu Phom today, December 01, 2020. Out of the total recoveries today, 106 recovered from Dimapur and 01 each from Peren & Kiphire.
The state also recorded 23 new COVID positive cases from Dimapur today, taking the total tally to 11,209, updated the Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom. Active cases stands at 840.
23 +ve cases of # COVID-19 have detected in Dimapur today.
Also, 108 +ve patients have recovered.
Dimapur- 106, Kiphire- Peren- 1 each.

Among the new cases detected today, 14 cases are from among the traced contacts, 08 among armed forces/ security personnel and 01 front line workers, updated the Health Department in its daily bulletin.
Out of the total positive cases in the state, 4559 positive cases are among the Armed Force personnel, which is 41% of the total tally, 1,774 cases are returnees/travellers accounting to 16%, 4350 are traced contacts which is 39% of total cases and 526 front line workers at 05%.
As per the severity of symptoms, 767 active cases are asymptomatic, and among the symptomatic, 47 active cases are mild, 15 active cases are moderate on oxygen, 07 active cases are critical in ICU with oxygen and 04 are on ventilator. Also, 501 positive cases are under Home isolation in the state, the health department said.
So far, the State has reported fifty seven (57) deaths of COVID-19 patients, Seven (7) deaths of COVID-19 are not related to COVID and three (3) death cases are under investigation and 108 cases of COVID-19 are migrated, informed Nagaland Health and Family Welfare Department.
