Kohima, November 22 (NEx): Nagaland recorded 103 new COVID-19 positive cases today, November 22, taking the total count in the state to 10,777, updated Nagaland Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom.
Among the new cases detected, 78 cases were detected in Kohima, 24 in Dimapur and 01 in Zunheboto , updated Pangnyu. Active cases stands at 1406. The Health Minister also cautioned to follow the 3 W’s: Wear Mask, Wash Hands & Watch Distance.
The state also reported 66 recoveries of COVID-19 patients today, out of which 34 patients recovered from Kohima and 32 from Dimapur, updated the Health Minister. Total recovery tally stands at 9204.

Among the new cases detected today, 53 cases are from among the armed forces/ security personnel, 47 traced contacts and 03 among the front line workers.
Out of the total positive cases in the state, 4473 positive cases are among the Armed Force personnel, which is 45% of the total tally, 1,753 cases are returnees/travellers accounting to 21%, 4044 are traced contacts which is 29% of total cases and 507 front line workers at 05%.
As per the severity of symptoms, 1365 active cases are asymptomatic, and among the symptomatic, 16 active cases are mild, 15 active cases are moderate on oxygen, 03 active cases are severe on oxygen, 05 active cases are critical in ICU without oxygen and 02 active cases are on ventilator.
So far, the State has reported fifty three (53) deaths of COVID-19 patients, Six (6) deaths of COVID-19 are not related to COVID and four (4) death cases are under investigation and 105 cases of COVID-19 are migrated, informed Nagaland Health and Family Welfare Department.
