Kohima, December 23 (NEx): Nagaland recorded 50 recoveries from COVID-19 today, December 23 taking the total count to 11,294, where 32 patients recovered from Kohima, 16 from Dimapur and 02 from Mokokchung, updated Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom today.
The state also reported 11 new COVID-19 positive cases today, taking the total count in the state to 11,877, updated pangnyu. Among the new cases, 05 cases were detected in Dimapur, 04 in Kohima and 01 each in Mokokchung & Phek, updated Pangnyu. Active cases stands at 377.
11 +ve case of #COVID-19 have been detected on 23/12/2020.
Dimapur- 5, Kohima- 4, Mokokchung- Phek- 1 each.
Also, 50 +ve patients have recovered.
Kohima- 32, Dimapur- 16, Mokokchung- 2.
Total +ve cases- 11877
Active Cases- 377.

Among the new cases detected today, all cases are from among the traced contacts, updated the Health Department in its daily bulletin.
Out of the total positive cases in the state, 4643 positive cases are among the Armed Force personnel, which is 39% of the total tally, 1,831 cases are returnees/travellers accounting to 15%, 4838 are traced contacts which is 39% of total cases and 565 front line workers at 05%.
As per the severity of symptoms, 350 active cases are asymptomatic, and among the symptomatic, 19 active cases are mild, 05 active cases are moderate on oxygen, 03 active cases are severe on oxygen.
So far, the State has reported sixty seven (67) deaths of COVID-19 patients, Ten (10) deaths of COVID-19 are not related to COVID and 129 cases of COVID-19 are migrated, informed Nagaland Health and Family Welfare Department.
