Kohima, December 22 (NEx): Nagaland recorded 50 recoveries from COVID-19 today, December 22 taking the total count to 11,244, where 35 patients recovered from Dimapur, 10 from Kiphire, 04 from Kohima and 06 from Peren, updated Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom today.
The state also reported 08 new COVID-19 positive cases today, taking the total count in the state to 11,866, updated pangnyu. Among the new cases, 05 cases were detected in Mokokchung and 03 in Dimapur, updated Pangnyu. Active cases stands at 417.
8 +ve case of #COVID-19 have been detected on 22/12/2020.
Mokokchung- 5, Dimapur- 3.
Dimapur- 9, Kohima- 7.
Also, 50 +ve patients have recovered.
Dimapur- 35, Kiphire- 10, Kohima- 4, Peren- 1.
Total +ve cases- 11866
Active Cases- 417.

Among the new cases detected today, 06 cases are from among the traced contacts, 01 returneee and 01 frontline worker, updated the Health Department in its daily bulletin.
Out of the total positive cases in the state, 4643 positive cases are among the Armed Force personnel, which is 39% of the total tally, 1,831 cases are returnees/travellers accounting to 15%, 4827 are traced contacts which is 39% of total cases and 565 front line workers at 05%.
As per the severity of symptoms, 386 active cases are asymptomatic, and among the symptomatic, 22 active cases are mild, 06 active cases are moderate on oxygen, 02 active cases are severe on oxygen and 01 active case is critical in ICU on ventilator.
So far, the State has reported sixty six (66) deaths of COVID-19 patients, Ten (10) deaths of COVID-19 are not related to COVID and 129 cases of COVID-19 are migrated, informed Nagaland Health and Family Welfare Department.
