Kohima, December 20 (NEx): Nagaland recorded 43 recoveries from COVID-19 today, December 20 taking the total count to 11,144 and all 43 patients recovered from Kohima, updated Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom today.
The state also reported 01 new COVID-19 positive cases today, taking the total count in the state to 11,842, updated pangnyu. The new case was detected at Phek today, updated Pangnyu. Active cases stands at 496.
1 +ve case of #COVID-19 have detected today at Phek.
Also, 43 +ve patients have recovered in Kohima.

The new case detected today is from among the traced contacts, updated the Health Department in its daily bulletin.
Out of the total positive cases in the state, 4641 positive cases are among the Armed Force personnel, which is 39% of the total tally, 1,830 cases are returnees/travellers accounting to 15%, 4807 are traced contacts which is 39% of total cases and 564 front line workers at 05%.
As per the severity of symptoms, 454 active cases are asymptomatic, and among the symptomatic, 27 active cases are mild, 10 active cases are moderate on oxygen, 04 active cases are severe on oxygen and 01 active case is critical in ICU on ventilator.
So far, the State has reported sixty three (63) deaths of COVID-19 patients, Ten (10) deaths of COVID-19 are not related to COVID and 129 cases of COVID-19 are migrated, informed Nagaland Health and Family Welfare Department.
