Kohima, December 25 (NEx): Nagaland recorded 36 recoveries from COVID-19 today, December 25 taking the total count to 11,413, where 31 patients recovered from Kohima, 03 from Dimapur and 02 from Peren, updated Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom today.
The state also reported 05 new COVID-19 positive cases today, taking the total count in the state to 11,895, updated pangnyu. Among the new cases, 03 cases were detected in Kohima and 02 in Dimapur, updated Pangnyu. Active cases stands at 274.
5 +ve cases of #COVID-19 have been detected on 25/12/2020.
Kohima- 3, Dimapur – 2.
Also, 36 +ve patients have recovered.

Among the new cases detected today, 03 cases are from among the traced contacts, 01 armed forces and 01 from among returnees/travellers, updated the Health Department in its daily bulletin.
Out of the total positive cases in the state, 4649 positive cases are among the Armed Force personnel, which is 39% of the total tally, 1,834 cases are returnees/travellers accounting to 15%, 4847 are traced contacts which is 39% of total cases and 565 front line workers at 05%.
As per the severity of symptoms, 249 active cases are asymptomatic, and among the symptomatic, 17 active cases are mild, 04 active cases are moderate on oxygen, 03 active cases are severe on oxygen and 01 is critical in ICU and on ventilator.
So far, the State has reported sixty seven (67) deaths of COVID-19 patients, Ten (10) deaths of COVID-19 are not related to COVID and 131 cases of COVID-19 are migrated, informed Nagaland Health and Family Welfare Department.
