Kohima, January 05 (NEx): Nagaland recorded 30 new reciveries of COVID-19 patients today, taking the total count in the state to 11,581, updated Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom today, January 05, 2021.
Out of the total recoveries today, 26 recoveries were from Mokokchung, 03 from Kohima and 01 from Dimapur.
2 +ve cases of #COVID-19 have been detected on
Dimapur- Peren- 1 each.
Also 30 +ve patients have recovered.
Mokokchung- 26, Kohima- 3, Dimapur- 1.
Total +ve cases- 11937
Active Cases- 144

The state also detected 02 new positive cases of COVID-19, 01 each from Dimapur & Peren, taking the total count to 11,937, updated Pangnyu. Also, 01 case each was detected from among the returnees/travellellers and frontline workers. Active cases stands at 144.
Out of the total positive cases in the state, 4657 positive cases are among the Armed Force personnel, which is 39% of the total tally, 1,837 cases are returnees/travellers accounting to 15%, 4876 are traced contacts which is 41% of total cases and 567 front line workers at 05%.
As per the severity of symptoms, 118 active cases are asymptomatic, and among the symptomatic, 17 active cases are mild, 05 active cases are moderate on oxygen, 01 active cases are severe on oxygen and 03 is critical in ICU and on ventilator.
So far, the State has reported sixty nine (69) deaths of COVID-19 patients, Ten (10) deaths of COVID-19 are not related to COVID and 133 cases of COVID-19 are migrated, informed Nagaland Health and Family Welfare Department.
