Kohima, January 02 (NEx): Nagaland recorded 05 new recoveries from COVID-19 today, January 2nd, 2020, taking the total count in the state to 11,533, updated Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom today, where, 04 patients recovered from Dimapur and 01 from Kiphire.
There were no new cases detected today, updated Pangnyu. Active cases stands at 186 and the total number of positive cases detected so far is 11,929.
No +ve cases of #COVID-19 have been detected on 2/1/2021.
Also 5 +ve patients have recovered.

Out of the total positive cases in the state, 4654 positive cases are among the Armed Force personnel, which is 39% of the total tally, 1,836 cases are returnees/travellers accounting to 15%, 4871 are traced contacts which is 41% of total cases and 566 front line workers at 05%.
As per the severity of symptoms, 160 active cases are asymptomatic, and among the symptomatic, 18 active cases are mild, 03 active cases are moderate on oxygen, 01 active cases are severe on oxygen and 04 is critical in ICU and on ventilator.
So far, the State has reported sixty nine (69) deaths of COVID-19 patients, Ten (10) deaths of COVID-19 are not related to COVID and 131 cases of COVID-19 are migrated, informed Nagaland Health and Family Welfare Department.
