Kohima, December 08 (NEx): The Nagaland Police on Tuesday issued a detailed crime report on arrests of 24 persons in connection with different charges during the period between November 3rd to 17th, 2020.
Nagaland Police through a DIPR report informed that stepping up its proactive efforts to combat illegal activities, prevention and detection of crime across the state, it affected several arrests, recovery of stolen vehicles and seizures of contraband drugs, IMFLS, foreign made cigarettes, banned tobacco products etc, during the period of November 3rd to 17th, 2020.
The crime report updated about the seizure of two stolen vehicles; one i-20 bearing registration number NL07H 3356 and a motor bike bearing registration number NL02E4287.
Further, it updated on the seizure of 593 Litres of assorted IMFL, 10 kg Ganja, 69 gm of Brown Sugar, 739 nos. of Spasmo-Proxyvon Tablets and other assorted drugs, 15,000 packets of illegal foreign made Cigarettes and 400 packets of banned tobacco products.
In this connection, a total of 24 persons have been arrested and action initiated against them as per legal provisions, it added.
