Nagaland permits religious places to open at 100% capacity with COVID-19 SOPs

Kohima, February 13 (NEx): The Government of Nagaland on Saturday permitted religious places to open at 100% capacity of the building/place with immediate effect.

An order issued by the Principal Secretary, Home, Abhijit Sinha, IAS stated, ‘In partial modification of the order issued on June 10, 2020, regarding the opening of religious places/places of religious worship; the number of persons to be allowed is upto 100% of the capacity of that building/place subject to adherence to COVID-19 appropriate behaviours such as wearing of mask and hand sanitization’.

The above order shall come into force with immediate effect, said the PS today.
