Nagaland Observes International Human Rights Day at St. John College, Dimapur today

Dimapur, December 10 (NE): The Human Rights Day was marked today on December ten by conducting a training session on human rights, which is sponsored by National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) at St. John College, Dimapur.

Around 125 students and staff attended the program and learnt about the history and basis of Human Rights, and how they are relevant, according to an information recieved here.

Attendees heard from Dr. Hitoka H. Sumi, Dimapur Publishing, Mr. T. Temjensoba, Panel Lawyer from Dimapur District Legal Services Authority, Ms. Limasenla Longkumer from Child Welfare Committee, Nagaland State Legal Services authority and Dr. Watinaro Longkumer, (HoD) Department of Psychology and Counselling at St.Joseph University.

The speakers covered a vast range of subjects and all attendees were thoroughly informed about the subject.
