Kohima, June 20: Nagaland Governor, PB Acharya, in his message on the eve of International Day of Yoga, appealed all citizens of the state to participate in observing the Day.
Acharya stated that Yoga is one of the most invaluable gifts of the ancient Indian tradition which was universally accepted as one of the most ideal practices of mankind.
He said Yoga embodies unity of mind and body and promotes harmony amongst the people and nature.
The Governor said man is a physical, mental and spiritual being and yoga helps promote a balanced development of all the three.
Acharya added that, for sound health and mind, we need to incorporate Yoga as part of our daily life.
