Nagaland Governor PB Acharya and Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio extended greetings to the Sumi Community on the occasion of Tuluni Festival.
In a release from Raj Bhavan, the Governor stated that Tuluni was a festival of great significance which is marked with merry-making for the Sumi’s through dance, songs, food and thanks giving.
Acharya also said that it was an occasion to rededicate oneself with renewed vigour to achieve peace, progress and prosperity.
The Governor added that the festival should be a source for building unity and called on all to come together and make the atmosphere conducive in towns and villages for peaceful co-existence and all round development of the State.
Cheif Minister Neiphiu Rio in his tweet greets the Sumi community of Nagaland on the occasion of Tuluni festival.
