Kohima, January 10 (NEx): Nagaland detected 03 new positive cases of COVID-19 today, January 10, 2021, taking the total count to 11,978, updated the health minister S Pangnyu Phom. Out of which, 01 cases each were detected in Dimapur, Kohima & Mokokchung.
Also, all the 03 cases were detected from among the traced contacts and active cases stands at 115.

The total recoveries of COVID-19 patients till January 9th in the state is at 11,639, updated Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom today.
Out of the total positive cases in the state, 4658 positive cases are among the Armed Force personnel, which is 39% of the total tally, 1,844 cases are returnees/travellers accounting to 15%, 4908 are traced contacts which is 41% of total cases and 568 front line workers at 05%.
As per the severity of symptoms, 93 active cases are asymptomatic, and among the symptomatic, 12 active cases are mild, 05 active cases are moderate on oxygen, 01 active cases are severe on oxygen and 02 is critical in ICU with oxygen and 02 is on ventilator.
So far, the State has reported seventy four (74) deaths of COVID-19 patients, Ten (10) deaths of COVID-19 are not related to COVID, 01 deaths are under investigation and 139 cases of COVID-19 are migrated, informed Nagaland Health and Family Welfare Department.
