Nagaland COVID-19 cases tally reaches 1030, with 9 new cases today, July 21, 2020: Nagaland Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom updates

Kohima, July 21 (NEx): Nagaland COVID-19 positive cases tally reached 1030 with nine (9) new cases today, July 21, 2020, updates Nagaland Health Minister, S Pangnyu Phom at 11:15 am.

Taking to twitter Pangnyu Phom updated that, out of 239 samples tested, 9 new COVID-19 positive cases have been confirmed. Among the new COVID-19 confirmed positive cases, 6 cases are in Dimapur, 2 in Mon and 1 in Peren – updated the Health Minister, today.

With 9 new cases, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 positive cases in Nagaland rises to 1030 today. Among the confirmed cases, 484 patients have recovered from COVID-19 and the active cases in the state now stands at 546. The state has not reported fatalities due to COVID-19.

Among the 546 active COVID-19 cases in Nagaland, 246 patients are undergoing treatment at Dimapur, 91 at Kohima, 89 at Mon, 90 at Peren, 10 at Tuensang, 8 at Phek and 5 at Mokokchung, 3 at Longleng, 2 at Zunheboto and 1 at Wokha district.

Kiphire district in Nagaland is the only COVID free district with zero case till today.
