Naga tribal bodies, frontal organisations and non-Naga communities of Dimapur resolves to fight against illegal collection

Dimapur: Naga tribal bodies, frontal organisations and non-Naga communities of Dimapur have decided to stand together to fight against the menace illegal collection of money by Naga political groups, state government departments, unions and welfare organisations.

This was unanimously resolved during a meeting held under the aegis of Public Action Committee, PAC of Naga Council Dimapur in Dimapur on Saturday (27 July).

In a release, the media cell of PAC said that the meeting also resolved to seek the support of the administration and state government to find ways and means to do away with this system to lighten the burden of the public which is indirectly affecting all citizens.

It said the organisations also demanded the state government to pass and enact stringent laws and acts to convict criminals caught in such cases.
