Naga Students' Federation Cancels 29th General Conference

Kohima, April 21 (NEx) : Owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) cancelled the proposed 29th General Conference scheduled to be held from April 28th to 30th, 2021 at Ukhrul Town, Manipur, to be hosted by Tangkhul Katamnao Saklong (TKS).

The NSF said that the decision was taken during the Emergency Federal Assembly held today, April 21st, 2021 at Hotel Japfu, Kohima, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Meanwhile, the Executive Council NSF, 2019-21, has been endorsed to organise the 29th NSF General Conference with all precautionary measures relating to COVID-19 SOPs set in place and rescheduled to be held on April 30th, 2021 at Naga Solidarity Park, Kohima, it said.

The federation also notified that 5 (five) representatives from each Federating units, 2 (two) representatives from each Sub-Ordinate bodies and 2 (two) representatives from the Special Invitees viz. Chothe Students Union, Tarao Students’ Union, Inpui Students’ Union and Thangal Students’ Union are requested to attend the 29th NSF General Conference.

The NSF advised the delegates to strictly adhere to all COVID-19 related SOPs specified by the competent authority during the entirety of the program.
