Kohima, December 01 (NEx): The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister, Amit Shah, Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, Deputy CM Y Patton along with others greeted the people of Nagaland on the occasion of 58th Statehood Day of Nagaland. It was on this day, Nagaland was created as the 16th State of India on 1963.
The Prime Minister while extending the Statehood Day greetings said that the people of Nagaland are known for their courage and kindness. Their culture is exemplary and so is their contribution to India’s progress. In an official tweet PM Modi said that he is ‘Praying for Nagaland’s continuous development.’
