Dimapur, January 17 (NE): “Making a cozy corner at home made easier with pop coloured” – Naga cushions handwoven by few artisan entrepreneurs from Dimapur and Phek, Nagaland is taking part at Artisans’ Exhibit of Handwoven Textile, which kicked off on January Sixteen and will go till Seventeen, today, 11am to 7pm, at North Lounge, World Trade Center, Cuffe Parade, Mumbai, (Maharashtra).

In a notification it said that it is featuring weaves like single weft Ikat, Jamdani, Zari and loin looms, the sarees, fashion accessories, yardage and home textiles replete with gorgeous hues and intricate patterns will be available in the stalls. An exquisite collection of handloom fabrics from Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Assam besides Nagaland, is exhibiting in the two days program where Antaran – Transforming Crafts, is organizing the entire event with support from Tata Trust among others.

It can be noted that such event will also be held at France where products from Nagaland may also be available as per sources.
